Welcome to the Rusted Chandelier!
Our shop was founded with a passion for your home and your happiness.
How it Started
Years ago, when this shop was just a dream, Patti's son asked what name she was going to choose. “Well, I love to bring the old and new together,” she told him. “You know, like — a rusted chandelier!” That vision has stayed true. We believe in treasuring what you already have and love. Then, mix in new touches that bring a smile to your face. In addition to home decor, wall decor, and other boutique favorites, Rusted Chandelier offers in-home decorating services to beautify your space for the holidays and year-round.
Family Owned and Operated
Since we opened our doors in 2012, Rusted Chandelier has always been a family-operated business. My husband Bob, our daughter Katherine, and our son Brian have each helped tremendously. Whether it’s going to market, recording our how-to videos, or supporting our constant feed of treasures on Instagram, bringing the Rusted Chandelier aesthetic to life is truly a team effort!
Friends are always Near
When you come to Rusted Chandelier, you’ll also see a selection of items hand-picked by two of my dear friends: Carol Temple with Pizazz 2 Interiors, and Diann Bosworth with dbee creative. Diann’s items are sprinkled throughout the shop, and her hand-printed items are always a hit. Carol’s great taste is on display in the rear of the shop, next to her studio.
Patti Porter’s home decorating career began at a designer shop in historic Springfield, Illinois. She has lived in St. Louis for more than 20 years, creating floral designs and more for shops like Summer House, MKS Designs, and Three French Hens—and now Rusted Chandelier. She loves helping people create a home that excites them.
